Its a story about a little boy who has a certain family member who visits all the time and allways gives him kisses and he doesn't like them who doesn't have family like that anyway after a slow and painful recovery to an axcident will his heart change.

This is a great retell of one of our favourite tales known all over the world! Chicken Licken! This book is great for all ages, as a bedtime story or just for reading yourself! I love the illustrations in this book because they just help bring out the classic feel too the book, I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars!!!!

The Little Tractor By Joy Cowley


I thought this was a fantastic book. It is about a little tractor working on a farm. In a few years it goes into a car sales. It gets bought by a guy who uses it to take his boat in and out of the water. The tractor geos on a adventure but to find were he geos you will have to read.

I thought it was a great book. It was exciting, funny and I didn’t want to stop reading. This book is about Madam spry and her going. Mean while her dog is staving at home waiting for steak. Will he get steak when Madam a spry returns? I recommend this book for people aged eight to ten.

Recycled- By Sandy McKay


Colin comes from a family of people who can't even recycle a peanut-butter container. How can a developing eco-warrior live like this? He can't! So he sets up recycling bins and after a lot of work his family finally start trying.

When his class go on a school trip to the local recycling centre he meets Paddy, the owner of the plant. Soon Colin starts working there in the weekends, for Paddy. When the Council threaten to close the recycling plant down Colin and his class soon begin helping, by setting up a protest on the day that Paddy is evicted.

What will happen to the towns only Recycling centre ?

This is a good book for Children between the ages of 10-12.

There is also a sequel to this book called 'Colin Goes Bush'.

Hairy Maclary Hat Tricks

All Hairy Maclary wanted was to play fetch but everybody was too busy to play with him until Miss Plum came along. One throw wasn't enough for Hairy Maclary. Fortunately for him there was a wedding and all the hats blew away and he finally got to play fetch.

I would recommend this book to both boys and girls of all ages and it is a really good read.

Lacey Turner is a city girl who moves to the country with her family. Her whole world turns upside down. She is the only girl in her class at school and is forced to play Rugby with the boys. So when her school has it's concert, she puts together a dance for her and the boys. Will the dance be a sucsess of will it fail? You will have to read it to find out. Lucky for Some is a good read. I rated it 4/5 and I think it is aimed for girls 10 and up.

This is a good book because it tells you lots of facts about rugby and how it originated, and also information about the 1999 Rugby World cup. I think that this book would be good for children between the ages of 9-12

One day Hairy Maclary went to a cat show with his owner, the owner tied Hairy Maclarys lead to a tree. Hairy Maclary wanted to go inside to see what all the meowing and other sounds were. Hairy Maclary broke the lead and ran inside. When he ran inside he made the cats meow even more and the owners, judges and all the spectators very unhappy.
But by the time judging came around guess who won the prize for the scruffiest cat...

Can you find me a tiger... lizard, seal, forg, lion, moth, crocodile, chick, polar bear, bird, flounder, fawn and a black cat? The're all in: Find me a tiger by Lynley Dodd if your looking for them. Instead of a story book, this is more of a find it book as your are looking for the animals hidden in the unique surroundings they blend into on each page of this great book. I would recommend this book to anyone who can read (this post). I rate this book a 4/5.

the place. In the end he won a prize for being the scruffiest cat.
I strongly believe that you will enjoy this book and all the rest in the
series.

Ruby Yarrow is a good girl who does lots of work at home for her mother. Her brother Max is supposed to help but Ruby thinks it's easier to do the work herself. Her friend Tia disagrees and thinks Ruby shold stop letting people walk all over her. Can she do it? Is she strong enough? End of the Alphabet is a great read with lots of twists and turns. I would rate it 4/5 and for girls aged 12 and up.
